Soghankeh residents: We went back to our village, not let it to Turkish occupation

A few day ago, 20 families have decided to return to Soghankeh village in Sherawa district as initial step, after displacing it several months due to Turkish occupation barbaric attacks.

The village of Soghankeh is away from the occupied villages, which are stationed by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, two kilometers from the direction of the occupied village of Kemar, Barrada and Basala.

Soghankeh village's residents narrated, why did they leave the village? To Hawar news agency (ANHA).

 The elderly Khalil Barakat says that the Turkish occupation bombed their village intensively, forcing them to leave.

Regarding the reasons for the return, Barakat explained that nothing compares to their village, which is the place where they grew up, and they will not be able to live far from it, whatever the Turkish occupation has done to them.

Barakat pointed out that "the Turkish occupation set fire to 800 olive trees near the village of Kemar and deliberately captured my son while he was grazing sheep."

As for the citizen Hanifa Khalil, one of the women of the village, she says, "We cannot move in our village safely because the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries surround us from all directions. We have thousands of olive trees and we buy oil from abroad, because we cannot harvest the olive crops or look after the trees because of the presence Turkish occupation near our village. "

For his part, citizen Mahmoud Mamo affirmed that the Turkish occupation bombed the village of Soghankeh in one day with more than 120 missile shells, and in the recent period targeted the village intensively and brutally, forcing us to head to the village of Aqîbê, but we were targeted there again.

"We decided to return to our village again because we cannot live far from it, and in order to continue the resistance and confront the Turkish occupation," Mamo noted.

As for Ali Mamo, whose house was bombed by the Turkish occupation, he said that the occupation and its mercenaries are bombing the village late at night to spread fear and terror in the hearts of civilians.

He appealed from the international organizations to shoulder its responsibility to put an end the violations of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on Sherawa district's villages.

The Turkish occupation is harassing the villagers and practicing violations against them from the constant bombing and shooting of live bullets at the villagers, especially the farmers.
