Journalists, activists: Kurdish forces should not be dragged into dirty tricks of regional powers

A statement to the public opinion on behalf of Kurdish journalists, intellectuals and civil society activists

In the last few days, the Zînî wartê region in south Kurdistan is experiencing tension between the Kurdistan National Union YNK and Kurdistan Democratic Party KDP, against the background of differences that separated the two parties, which led to the deterioration of the situation and the emergence of signs of a conflict that may become deep and produce dire results if it continues for long.

We affirm that the differences between the Kurdish parties, no matter how badly they will return to the Kurds and focus in the service of the agendas of the enemies of Kurdistan and those who seek to dominate our homeland, and we see that this tension if it continues will be the beginning of the dismantling of the Kurdish house in south Kurdistan in preparation for hitting the gains that our people have enjoyed in that part.

Regional powers that are active in that region and set their eyes on the homeland of our country do not stop practicing dirty games to undermine the Kurds, the Kurdish forces should not be dragged behind and be in the highest levels of awareness when dealing with any tension or crisis of this type, so being dragged behind the games can It ignites a war of brotherhood that will not produce positive results for either party.

And in the pages of Kurdish history, there are many examples of attempts by the enemies to strike the Kurds with each other in order to undermine any gain or move to obtain the stolen Kurdish rights, so thinking of the Kurdish interest and the alliance of the Kurdish political and military forces is the only way to repel all attempts to strike the Kurds and their gains until achieving the dreams of our people.
