Siko: KDP- Iraq responsible for martyr, Rustam Judi camp (Mexmûr)

Abdul Karim Siko blamed the Kurdistan Democratic Party- Iraq for the fallout of the imposed siege on the camp of the martyr Rustam Judi (Mexmûr), explaining that it serves the Turkish agendas and enemies of the Kurdish Cause.

Since July 18, 2019, the KDP-Iraq authorities have imposed a suffocating siege on the 12,000-refugees camp, inflecting a major impact on the camp's residents, jobs, universities students and pregnant women.

 As the siege on the martyr Rustam Judi camp continues and coronavirus outbreak accelerated in the world, more than 1,000 people lives who have chronic diseases, are at risk.

He pointed out that the siege is not of the Kurdish values and morals, especially in these difficult circumstances that the whole world is going through, "Such a policy serves the Turkish state, the greatest enemy of the people and the Kurdish Cause," Siko, Secretary General of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) said.

  He pointed out that the Başûr of Kurdistan  holds the full responsibility, especially the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) - Iraq, which controls the affairs," This siege harms the institutions of the Kurdistan Government and its consequences are detrimental to the institutional work of the government. It must act in accordance with international conventions and resolutions regarding refugees," he said.

Siko explained that the siege primarily harms the history and struggle of the Mustafa Barzani, and called on the Başûr of Kurdistan Government to return to the unity of the Kurdish rank, abstain from things that harm national unity and serve the agendas of the enemies of the Kurdish Cause.
