New fatalities, infections of Corona virus in Palestine and Israel

Today, Palestinian Health Minister Mai Kila announced the registration of new corona cases in the West Bank.

In a statement, she said: "The total number of infections in the West Bank and Gaza increased to 294 cases."

In the same context, the Israeli Ministry of Health announced that the death toll in the country due to the Corona virus has risen to 140, after recording 9 deaths within less than 24 hours.

She said in a statement: "Corona virus infections in the country also rose to 12,591 cases, the majority of which were described as minor, while 174 cases were serious, and 140 cases were described as very serious, and they were connected to respirators, while 172 cases were described as moderate, and 2,624 patients recovered from the virus ".

In another context, the Israeli media said that Israel on Thursday reopened the crossings with the West Bank and Gaza Strip to transport goods, after closing them during the past days.

Media outlets report that the announcement of opening the crossings is part of the Israeli National Security Council’s plan to resume normal activity in the country and live under the “Corona shadow”.
