As the people of northern and eastern Syria commit to the curfew decision announced by the Autonomous Administration in the framework of the precautionary measures to prevent the emergence of Corona virus pandemic that is spreading all over the world, many actions stopped, which negatively affected the living conditions of some families, and accordingly, the Autonomous Administration in northern and eastern Syria with all its civil administration decided to distribute food aid and baskets to the affected families.

Where Qamishlo City Council distributed today, the first batch of aid to families in the city, and included 300 families without income, which depend to earn their living from daily work, and the aid included food and detergents.

The administrative council of the Democratic Union Party in the western district of the city of Qamishlo Salahuddin Halabo explained: "Today we distributed the first batch of aid, and we will continue the distribution process, and there are other batches."

The administration explained that the distribution process will continue throughout the curfew.

 

Girkê Legê

In Girkê Legê district, in order for the district council to start today distributing 100 food parcels to 100 families inside the city center.

The distributions were carried out in coordination with neighborhood communes that compiled lists of families in need.

The co-chair of district council confirmed that distributions are continuing to include all needy families in the sub-district.

 

 

Dêrik

In the city of Dêrik, the Dirk District Council distributed 200 food rations to needy families in light of the curfew in the area.

The committees of the Autonomous Administration distributed foodstuffs in coordination with the communes and Dêrik District Council, and reached 200 food rationsdistributed to needy families.

Aid distribution continues until all the needy families who depend on in their livelihood on daily work are covered.
