Muhammad warned that the life of the leader, Ocalan is in danger amid the imposed isolation on him. The Turkish state has filthy aims and tendencies from preventing his lawyers' meeting with him amid the outbreak of the Coronavirus in the Turkish detentions.

Amid the outbreak of the Coronavirus in many Turkish cities and reporting deaths in the crowded Turkish detentions with thousands of the conscience arrestees, politicians, journalists  and intellectuals who were not covered by the Turkish parliament's bill on April 7 for releasing the criminal charges detainees. Amid the imposed isolation on the leader, Abdullah Ocalan, his lawyers: Radia Turgut, Rizan Sarija, Serbay Koklu and Ibrahim Belmiz made a request to the General-Attorney Office in Bursa between March 30 and April 3, to meet their client in Imrali island, but the Turkish authorities refused to conduct any interview to verify the Ocalan's health and safety.

"The Turkish state is taking advantage of the world's concern to fight the Coronavirus threatens on all humanity by reinforcing its positions in the occupied Syrian territories and the ongoing demographic change in those areas," Muhammed, co-chair of the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party (DPP), said in a statement.

Muhammed pointed out that the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) policy has not changed in Turkish interior either, as everyone is aware that Turkish prisons are overcrowded with conscience prisoners and Kurdish politicians , and pointed out: "I believe that the Kurdish leader, Abdullah Ocalan's life is in danger amid the imposed isolation and preventing his lawyer from meeting with him, especially after the Coronavirus outbreak, so the international community and the Security Council should know that his life is in danger."

He added: "Rejecting his lawyers' request for visiting him  to verify his health and safety raises doubts and concerns about his life and the possibility of the virus outbreak in Imrali prison and said: "In my opinion there are dirty goals and plans of the Turkish state from preventing the leader's lawyers from meeting him.

Muhammed said the Turkish media turns a blind eye to  Coronavirus infected and deaths in prisons which poses a serious threat on the lives of all prisoners of conscience and Kurdish politicians who have long served the Kurdish Cause.

He noted that many countries have released their political or conscience detainees following the Coronavirus outbreak, but the Turkish state did not, and explained: "The Turkish state can get rid of the detainees by spreading the Coronavirus in the prisons. Then the Turkish media announces through the platforms that the detainees died as a result of the coronavirus."

The co-chair of the Democratic Peace Party of Kurdistan, Talal Mohammed, appealed to all human rights institutions, the international community, the UN Security Council and the world body to combat the coronavirus to confirm the leader, Abdullah Ocalan, politicians, conscience detainees and journalists  health in Turkey and to follow up on their situation.
