2 suspected cases of Coivd -19 among arrivals from Damascus to Qamishlo

On April 13, a new batch arrived, the 4^th of the arrivals from the Syrian capital, Damascus, to the city of Qamishlo by air, where the medical teams conducted medical examination for arrivals inside Qamishlo airport, but the supervisors on airport 's administration tried to obstacle the medical team that has forced to leave the airport, and began conducting medical examination at the checkpoint.

Although the Syrian authorities have decided to stop the flights unofficially, and calls from the Autonomous Administration to stop the flights in order to stave off the emergence of the Covid-19 in the area, as it emerged in the Syrian capital, Damascus, resulted in killing number of civilians, it has not yet stopped them.

According to the "Crisis Cell" in north and east Syria, 28 persons from the expatriate were exposed to medical examination, and two suspected cases were found, who were transferred to the designated quarantine center, in addition to the transfer of 3 others suffering from chronic diseases to domestic quarantine for a period of 14 days with daily health control, where the remaining 23 were transferred to special centers, that have been previously prepared for those who are coming from out AA's areas.

According to the information, the number of arrivals to Qamishlo Airport is estimated at about one hundred passengers, but for the third time, the authorities of the regime smuggled some of them, so they hindered the work of the medical teams inside the airport, which forced them to leave before completing them of the medical examination.

The "Crisis Cell" noted that the Syrian authorities do not coordinate with them regarding flights coming from Damascus to the city of Qamishlo, and the Health Body in north and east Syria stated that the negligence of the Syrian authorities and the failure to stop flights to the city of Qamishlo constitutes a threat to the lives of the residents of the area.
