Relief committees in Shahba follow a new distribution method to protect people from Covid 19

The councils and social affairs committees of Shahba canton cooperate with distributing relief to more than two thousand families living in Fafin district of Shahba canton, for each house separately in implementation of the Autonomous Administration’s decisions and avoiding gatherings and protecting the people from the Corona virus (Covid 19).

Afrin District Councils, in cooperation with the Social Affairs Committees, distribute monthly reliefs to the people of Afrin region in all areas of Shahba canton, in a regular and accurate manner to maintain the safety of the people from the Corona virus.

Each house is distributed separately to avoid gatherings.

"We have taken the necessary preventive measures against the Corona virus by coordinating with the communes by distributing all kinds of relief (bread, food baskets and detergents) separately, in addition to the instructions that protect the people from the virus," said a member of the Social Affairs Committee in the Fafin district council, Thanaa Barakat.

"We sorted several cars to help the members of the two communities distribute relief in a sequence (house by house) to reduce the gathering of people in front of the communes," she said.

The number of families is (2000) families in Fafin district, of which (1519) are expatriates from occupied Afrin canton residing in Fafin district and others, and (838) for needy families from the indigenous population.

She called on the people to praise the people for continuing to cooperate with them and for their homes to ensure everyone is safe from the Corona virus.
