The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries continue to bomb the densely populated villages of tens of thousands of displaced Afrin in Sherawa district.

On the first day of this month, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries stationed in the occupied areas bombed the village of Aqbiya, Baynah and Khashatar with 15 artillery and mortar shells, which led to the destruction of a number of houses and material damage to civilians' properties.

On the 3rd of the same month, the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries re-bombed the villages of Soganah, Aqbiyah, Mazar Aqbiyah the village of Baynah, Kafr Naya, and Ahras district with 40 mortar shells and artillery, which resulted in the martyrdom of Ali Shabo Manla, 66, and material damage to civilian property.

The Turkish army also bombarded Deir Jamal village with 3 shells, killing one element of the Syrian regime forces and wounding others.

On the 6th of this month, the Turkish occupation mercenaries bombed the popular market in the village of Deir Jamal with six shells, which resulted in material damage to the property and homes of civilians.

The shelling continues with the aim of displacing civilians, repeating the scenario of the occupied Afrin canton, emptying the villages of residents and deducting parts of Syrian lands in the framework of the new Ottoman project in the region.

In this context, Hawar news agency (ANHA) conducted a meeting with the co-chair of Sherawa District Council, Ahmed Suleiman, and a number of the people of the district.

Ahmad Suleiman said: "Since the beginning of February, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries continue to shell the district and the villages of Sherawa almost daily, in an attempt to empty the area of its residents, and the shelling has killed a citizen."

"The shelling started on the village of Khashatar, passing through the villages bordering the occupied villages, reaching the village of Bashmara, in the district of Sherawa," Suleiman added.

Suleiman added: "The Turkish state has a history full of blood and massacres against unarmed civilians, and today it is also seeking to perpetrate massacres against the two cities in the Sherawa district, as it did in the Tal Rifaat district in al-Shahba district, indicating that violations are still continuing.

In her turn, the citizen Salwa Hamo condemned the violations of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries against civilians in Sherawa district and its villages.

She said: "International and human rights organizations declare and denounce the attacks of the Syrian regime forces in the city of Idlib, but at the same time they see violations of the Turkish occupation of civilians in Afrin, Sherawa and al-Shahba, without making any statement about it.

And the last massacres of the Turkish occupation were in Tal Refaat district, in which ten civilians were killed, including 8 children.

Salwa explained that the shelling comes from the mercenary position of the mercenaries in the village of Jalbara and the occupied Basilah belongs to Sherawa district.

At the end of her speech, Salwa called on international and human rights organizations to hold Turkey accountable for its crimes and violations against civilians....
