Putin, Erdogan' new deal.. another episode of displacement

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the opening of 3 crossings to take out the civilians from the Syrian governorate of Idlib starting from Monday.

A military source affiliated with the regime said, “Three humanitarian crossings will be opened for the civilians in Idlib and Aleppo countryside in Syria starting from tomorrow.”

The source said, “In light of the truce signed between Russia and Turkey that includes Idlib city and its countryside, the Syrian government will open three humanitarian crossings in the Idlib countryside and Aleppo distributed to the villages of Abo al-Zuhur, al-Habit and al-Hader.”

This comes after the meeting held between the Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and each of the two presidents has held deals on Syria during their previous meetings.

Both Russia and Turkey have worked to displace thousands from areas of the Syrian interior, and hand those areas over to the regime with Turkish sponsorship, as they were transferred to Idlib and the regions occupied by Turkey with a Russian green light.
