Hours after Russia announced a new truce... intensified bombing on Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that a missile strike was carried out by the regime forces after midnight on Thursday - Friday and early morning, during which they targeted areas in the city of Ma`rat al-Numan, the villages of Ma`rashmsha, Tilemans, Ma`saran, Marshorin, Deir Sharqi, and Deir Gharbi in the city's countryside.

In a related context, military reinforcements of the regime forces reached the western and southern axes of Aleppo countryside.

This comes hours after Russia announced that a new cease-fire had begun in Idlib area.

The Russian news agency TASS reported yesterday evening, a Russian defense ministry official said that a cease-fire had started in Idlib governorate, northwestern Syria.

This is not the first agreement of its kind, as Russia and Turkey announced previous agreements on a truce in a region called "de-escalation" according to the expression of the two countries, but all of them failed, and Russia accused earlier that Turkey was delaying in implementing the agreements on Idlib.
