Rojava for Strategic Studies holds "Ethnic Genocide, Demographic Change in N, E Syria Forum "

Under the moto (Ethnic Genocide and Demographic Change in Northern and Eastern Syria “Agendas, Implications, and Strategies of Confrontation”), the Rojava Center for Strategic Studies NRLS is organizing a dialogue forum on Wednesday, December 18th, at the workers ’union in the town of Rumailan in Qamishlo canton.

The forum's activities include a series of lectures and discussions distributed over three sessions in which a number of academics, jurists and politicians participate.

According to the preparatory committee, the forum will start its work with an opening speech on behalf of the center, followed by the word of the executive member of the Democratic Society Movment, Fawza Al-Youssef.

The forum will continue its work in three sessions; the first will focus on the genocide and demographic change that targeted and endured history's inhabitants of the region, while the second is about defining and evaluating violations committed in the context of ethnic genocide and demographic change in legal terms, the third session’s main focus revolves around solutions, identifying the mechanisms and means that support efforts to resist and stop ethnic genocide and demographic change, and support the insistence on holding on to the soil.
