The political party representatives and intellectuals have ended the political forum organized by the Kobanê Intellectuals Union which came under the slogan "Only by Our Unity, We Achieve Freedom and Self-Determination."

Independent personalities and intellectuals in addition to politicians from 7 parties met the invitation of the Intellectuals Union in Kobanê, namely, "The Kurdish Left Party in Syria (PÇKS), the Democratic Union Party (PYD), the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria (PYDKS), the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria (PDKS), the Kurdish Progressive Democratic Party in Syria (PDPKS), al-Wefaq Party, the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria (al-Party).

The first day of the forum, which started on Wednesday in the Roni War park in Kobanê, witnessed discussions on several social, economic and political axes.

On Thursday, in the midst of the second day of the forum, the attendees discussed the diplomatic aspect of Autonomous Administration and the unified decision of political parties in Kobanê.

The participants reached the formation of a committee consisting of 5 persons, namely: Ezzeldin Muslim from the Progressive Democratic Party, Kamiran Kanjo from the Kurdish Left Party in Syria, Masoud Mohammed; an independent figure, Perwin Battal from the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria (al-Party), Fawzia Abdi; an independent figure, and this to monitor discussions among political parties and follow up the implementation of the standard decisions taken later.

At the end of the forum, the political parties and intellectuals agreed to come out with a joint statement that included:

"At the invitation of the command of the Syrian Democratic Forces to unite the Kurdish class in this historic period that we are going through, and under the slogan, “With Our Unity, We Achieve Freedom and Self-Determination,” a political forum was held in the city of Kobanê, under the auspices of the Kobanê Intellectuals Union on 11-12-2019 and in the presence of the majority of representatives of political parties and some independent personalities in the city of Kobanê.

The forum included several social, cultural, educational, religious, legal and diplomatic axes, but the political axis was the one that dominated the forum, where it was completely transparent about the state of the differences in Kurdish positions, and therefore the need to find a mechanism for rapprochement among the ranks of the Kurdish movement to unify the political visions, as well the participants in this forum discussed the Syrian political movement in the international forums in general and the Constitution Drafting Committee in particular, marginalizing the components of northern and eastern Syria and removing them from this committee.

It was also discussed the recent chauvinistic and hateful positions and statements issued by both the regime and the opposition, their denial of the Kurdish presence in Syria, and the need for the relevant international bodies and organizations to return to Rojava to find the facts and refute these slanders.

The Turkish occupation practices and the mercenary factions associated with it were also examined in order to seek displacement, the change of the demography of the occupied areas before them, and the need to document these violations and present them to the relevant international forums.

In conclusion, the participants concluded that the Syrian Kurdish Movement (political parties) in all their spectra must participate in the Autonomous Administration, whereas those who are not participating, whether at home or abroad, are today facing a historical responsibility and the need to take this responsibility with all seriousness in these difficult circumstances that we are experiencing, and thus they should participate in uniting Kurdish visions and discourse.
