Clarification from ANHA about a mistake in translation of a Russian officer statement

A Russian delegation headed by Lieutenant General Alexei Kim said yesterday that he discussed with the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Kobane canton ways of providing humanitarian support.

Kim made the remarks at a joint press conference with the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Kobane canton after a closed-door meeting.

General Kim said the aim of the visit is to develop relations between the Russian government and the Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates region in terms of providing medical services and providing medical points in the region with modern equipment, medicines and other medical supplies, and to resolve service and security issues in the region.

''

After verification of the translation has shown that Kim said in response to a question whether Russia was aware of the killing of the Turkish occupation army of civilians in the north and east of Syria, "let us know as you follow up what is happening and is being published now."

Hawar news agency (ANHA) confirms that the transfer of the permit was the result of a mistake in translation from Russian into Arabic and not deliberately, which some Russian media tried to exploit.
