137 families arrive Washokani camp fleeing from Turkey's crimes

A new batch of displaced people from Serêkaniyê and its countryside, which is being bombed by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, arrived in Washokani camp, reaching their number in the camp to 2,044 refugees.

The displacement of thousands of people in the towns and villages of Serêkaniyê continues, as a result of the Turkish attack on the area and massacres of civilians, using internationally prohibited weapons.

According to the Humanitarian Affairs Report, 478 civilians were killed and 1,070 injured. Thousands of displaced people had been settled in safe cities, including the city of al-Hasakah. Washokani camp, 12 km west of the city of al-Hasakah, was opened by Autonomous Administration.

A new batch of displaced people arrived in the camp from rural villages in Zerkan district, south eastern of Serêkaniyê, number of the families in the camp to reached to 437 from 300 two days ago, where the total number of 2,044 displaced people living in the camp.

As soon as the displaced arrived in the camp, the Kurdish Red Crescent medical point provided medical assistance to patients and those in need of medicine, as well as providing essential needs.
