Serêkaniyê refugees … suffer from disability, lack of capabilities

 IDPs are not only suffering from leaving their homes and living in camps or schools amidst a lack of living requirements. This suffering is even more severe for the elderly, the elderly and those with special needs, as is the case of the Uncle Bozan family.

Uncle Bozan Mohammed Uthman, he is from Kobani people, having fled to the town of Serêkaniyê during the ISIS mercenary attack on Kobani and settled in Serêkaniyê, but the tragedy of exodus continued to be pursued by the Turkish occupation army and mercenary gangs.

Uncle Bozan lives with his disabled wife, son-in-law and several grandchildren in a school in the city of al-Hasakah, where living conditions are difficult.

However, the difficult life of Uncle Bozan and his wife Meri is that he is an elderly helpless, while the wife is suffering from paralysis of the legs.

Mother Meri says she and her husband tried to live in peace, having been displaced from Kobani by ISIS mercenaries, but today they were forced to flee again by the Turkish army and its mercenaries.

Dersim Ali Shamo, the wife of the cousin of Bozan, oversees the care of the elderly, but the lack of resources and assistance, as well as the responsibility of her three children difficult to care for the couple, as the conditions of life in the school burden.

Members of Uncle Bozan's family called on the international community to work to stop attacks by the Turkish army and its mercenaries, and to ensure that people return to their homes.
