Watfa: SDF have the right to try their prisoners
Ziyad Watfa, a member of the Coordination Committee of the Democratic Change Movement said that the Syrian Democratic Forces have the right to try their prisoners according to their own laws, which must not contradict international laws.
"The Syrian Democratic Forces have the right to try their prisoners, in accordance with their own laws, which must not contradict international laws," Watfa said.
A member of the Coordination Committee of Democratic Change Movement said that the obstacle to the formation of this court is "the lack of international recognition of the Autonomous Administration."
In a press conference in March 25, the Democratic Autonomous Administration called for the formation of an international court in northern and eastern Syria to prosecute Daesh mercenaries which the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Autonomous Administration held detainees.
The international community did not stir up more than three months later.
