North, east Syria people celebrating Newroz 2019

Since the early hours of the morning, the people of northern and eastern Syria have been heading towards the squares of Newroz 2019 celebrations, where all the cities and districts of the region are witnessing celebrations in which all components of northern and eastern Syria participate.

Under the slogan "In the Spirit of Newroz, We Will Break the Isolation and Liberate Afrin," the people of northern and eastern Syria are celebrating the Newroz of 2019.

To celebrate this occasion, the people of north and east Syria with all components and from the early hours of the morning have begun to flock towards the celebration's squares in the cities and districts of the area which were identified by the preparatory committees of the celebration, dressing folkloric costumes, raising banners, flags and symbols of north and east Syria, and the pictures of the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan and the martyrs of freedom.

The Internal Security Forces, the Community Protection Forces, in addition to the Traffic are working to protect the squares in which celebrations are organized and to regulate the traffic.

The celebration is scheduled to begin in the coming hours with the burning of Newroz flame and holding a minute of silence.
