Khalil in al-Hasakah Newroz: Resistance escalates to liberate Afrin, Ocalan

Aldar Kahlil said, "The resistance of the Kurdish people's leader and the other prisoners in the prisons is good example to break the isolation, noting that the victory in north and east of Syria will be completed by liberating Afrin and achieving the leader's freedom, stressing that the resistance will continue to be escalated."

The activities of Newroz 2019 in al-Hasakah city are ongoing, where the official of the Diplomatic Relations Committee of the Democratic Society Movement (DEM-TEV) Aldar Khalil delivered a speech during the celebration.

At the beginning, Aldar Khalil congratulated all the people of north and east of Syria, all the martyrs of freedom who sacrificed their lives for the sake of freedom and dignity of the peoples of the region to live in dignity, the resistant people of Afrin in al-Shahba canton, the fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the fighters in the ranks of the People and Women Protection Units (YPJ, YPG) on the this occasion.

Khalil saluted the resistance of the Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Ocalan on the island of Imrali and all the prisoners who stand up and refuse the isolation of Ocalan through their hunger strike. He said that the martyr Zelkaf became good example for breaking the isolation on Ocalan.

Aldar explained that there are who want to undermine our democratic project, but there is resistance by the people of north and east Syria, in particular Rojava which is still ongoing, and he added, "To protect these gains, liberate Afrin and establish a democratic system, we need to unite."

And said, "In order to continue and defeat the enemies there is something important which is breaking the isolation on Ocalan because with isolation, these gains will go and threats will be increased."

He stressed that the protection of the revolution requires them to support Leyla Guven and her comrades and break the isolation. He explained that the liberation of Afrin requires them to be the owners of will to raise the level of their forces' readiness, support them in various forms and increase the pace of organization within the society because the society is strong and is able to preserve these gains that have been made since the establishment of the Democratic Autonomous Administrations (DAA).
