Basque Region delegation visits DAA of N, E of Syria

A delegation from the Basque Region in Spain visited the headquarters of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East of Syria(DAA) to learn about the experience of women and their role in civil institutions in order to transfer their experience to their regions.

The delegation, which visited the headquarters of the Executive Council of DAA in Ain Issa district of Girê Spî canton, received the co-chair of the Executive Council, Berîvan Khalid, the deputies of the Joint presidency Rohlat Aref and Elizabeth Korea and the co-chair of the External Relations Office Amal Dadah.

Following the reception the co-chair presented a glimpse of the women's achievements during the Revolution of Rojava and its pioneering role in civil administrations and their work for the society.

The co-chair of the Executive Council explained the work women's movements in the areas of DAA to the visiting delegation and their role in society and all aspects of life, and what they achieved in previous years.

The visiting women expressed their support for the DAA project and the status of women in the democratic project in the areas of DAA, and would work to transfer and implement the experience of women in the Autonomous Administration areas of the Basque region.
