HPG dealt blows to the Turkish occupation

The Media Center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) pointed out that their forces dealt the sites of the Turkish occupation army harsh blows in Sidkan area in Başûr Kurdistan (South Kurdistan).

HPG's Media Center issued on Friday a statement to the public opinion, disclosing the outcomes of the operations carried out in Sidkan area in Başûr Kurdistan.

The statement noted that on February 28th at 09:00, our forces carried out an operation against the sites of the Turkish occupation army at Ali Derij square in Sidkan area.

The statement also included, "Sites of the Turkish occupation army were dealt harsh blows, but the number of the killed and wounded soldiers was not confirmed. After the operation, the Turkish occupation bombarded the area with mortars."

The center also assured that on the same day, there was a movement of the Turkish occupation army's aircrafts over Colemêrg city, and that Ziyeh square was bombarded with aircrafts.

The statement added, "On February 28 between 21:00 and 21:30, helicopters hovered over Khrakol (Xirakol) hill in Celê district in Colemêrg city. The helicopters launched raids on the Martyr Restum and Ziyeh squares, while no damage was inflicted to our forces during the bombardment."
