2 Separate meetings held in Aleppo by 20th anniversary of conspiracy against Ocalan

February 15 marks the 21st anniversary of the international conspiracy against the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan. In this regard, the Democratic Society Movement in the al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo organized two separate meetings for the residents of the neighborhood.

Dozens of the Kurdish and Arab residents of the neighborhood, the members of the civil institutions and communes attended the two meetings.

In the first meeting that was held in the meetings hall in the western section of al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, the administrative member of the Democratic Society Movement Rabrin Halab talked and noted that the international conspiracy that targeted Ocalan will enter its 21st year, and made clear that this plot targeted all the peoples demanding freedom.

Rabrin said, "Most of the revolutions failed because of the death of their leaders, but the revolution led by the leader Abdullah Ocalan with his ideology and free thought comprising all categories of society and the people won in spite of all plots."

Rabrin confirmed that the Turkish government's goal is to undermine the Kurdish people and eliminate them.

After that, a short film was shown about the Kurdish people's cause and the international conspiracy.

In a related context, a meeting was held in al-Ashrafiyyah neighborhood. In the meeting, two speeches were delivered in Kurdish by the administrator of the Democratic Society Movement Ronak Tel Tamr, and in Arabic by the co-chair of the Democratic Society Movement's Council of Aleppo Suad Hassen.

In their speeches, they pointed out that the aim of the Turkish occupation of the severe isolation on the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan is to exterminate the Kurdish people, pointing out that Ocalan drove the Kurdish people out of the maze of the authoritarian regimes.

The two speeches confirmed that Erdogan's policy failed because the people's resistance and will with the forefront of the activist Leyla Guven and her comrades who are on hunger strike.

The two meetings ended with chanting the slogans that salute the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan.
