SDF saved world, defeated IS to open way for political solutions

On the impact of al-Jazeera Tempest campaign on the region and the importance of eliminating IS mercenaries from the north and east of Syria, and what is the political role that will be reflected by the end of the campaign in the course of resolving the Syrian crisis and the elimination of terrorism, ANHA agency held a meeting with the head of the National Democratic Alliance in al-Tabqa Salam Hussein.

IS implanted obscurantist ideas in society, but SDF liberated the thought and land

Salam Hussein began his speech by touching on the influence of IS on the community and the negative consequences left by IS through their obscurantist idea as Salam described in his speech saying, "During the period of its control over many areas of the Syrian and Iraqi geographies, IS mercenaries have worked to impose their radical approach and disseminate their extremist ideas among the segments of the society in general. Normally, these ideas have had a significant impact on the society. We have noticed that a good number of individuals of those communities that have been under the control of IS mercenaries have been influenced and embraced a large part of those ideas whose results have emerged significantly later."

In his speech, Hussein said, "Those ideas planted by IS in the minds of the people received a slight acceptance by some members of the society who were the owners of weak souls and later joined the ranks of IS. Today, all these ideas and beliefs planted by IS are fully linked to al-Jazeera Tempest campaign launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). The end of the military campaign means the destruction of all those illusions and beliefs that were planted by IS mercenaries in the minds of the people of the region.

SDF saved the whole world from IS' nightmare

Hussein noted that the role played by SDF in the elimination of IS mercenaries in the geography of the north and east of Syria has become clear to all the global parties. The role of local Syrian forces that have no links with external agendas and have weak military capabilities compared to the Syrian and Iraqi armies can destroy the dream of IS mercenaries and save the whole world from the nightmare of IS mercenaries, and this grants them the legitimacy and acceptance of all the Syrian and regional parties."

The Autonomous Administrations have been built on the rubble of the "dream of IS"

Hussein said that the end of the presence of IS mercenaries in the region gives a great impetus to the Syrian political process for the northern and eastern regions of Syria which were built on the ruins of the dream of IS to begin establishing their own administration and activating their social and military institutions by the people of those areas in al-Tabqa for example, and al-Raqqa, Manbij, Deir ez-Zor and many areas liberated by the Syrian Democratic Forces. Today, they run themselves within the Democratic Autonomous Administrations with the participation of all components of the region as a fact and an urgent need.

The end of al-Jazeera Tempest campaign is the removal of barriers before the Syrian dialogue about the crisis

At the end of his speech, the head of the branch of the National Democratic Alliance in Syria Salam Hussein said that in conjunction with the announcement of the end of al Jazeera Tempest campaign, all the barriers placed by the Syrian government in the path of the Syrian political dialogue will remove saying, "In previous times, Damascus says that it cannot sit at the table dialogue and find political solutions to the Syrian crisis in the presence of terrorism on the ground Syria. Firstly, terrorism must be eliminated militarily and then heading to dialogue. The elimination of IS mercenaries reflects the need to sit at the table of the Syrian dialogue with the participation of all parties."
