After 10 days, al-Tabqa conclude hunger strike activities

At the end of the 10-day strike, in solidarity with the resistance of Leyla Guven and her 230 comrades who went on hunger strike in protest against the tyranny and fascism of the Turkish state against detainees in its prisons, and demanding to lift the isolation of the national leader Abdullah Ocalan, the participants issued a statement delivered by the co-chair of Martyrs Families and Affairs Committee Khalid Al-Zaim.

It was scheduled that the strike would continue till Wednesday morning, but was terminated on the back of the incidents in the area, which prompted the Internal Committee in the Democratic Autonomous Administration of al-Tabqa area to impose a total curfew in the region to avoid any rioting or sabotage of public property may target the security and stability of the region.
