She made leader's ideas goal to struggle for

All the peoples of the Middle East, in particular the women had been effected by the leader Abdullah Ocalan's thought during his struggle as he made of the women issue and their liberation a basis to his struggle. Hundreds of the women had met with him and got influenced by his thought, recalling the details of meetings with him. 

Zallokh Abdo, one of the residents of al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo recognized the thought and philosophy of the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan 30 years ago through the strugglers in Kurdistan Liberation Movement.

Several hours with Ocalan

In 1995, Zallokh Abdo met the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan in Aleppo city during an expanded meeting which the people of all ages, as well as doctors and politicians had attended. In this regard, she pointed out, "We were interested in his views and ideas which focused on the women's freedom."

By our will, resistance will win

Zallokh highlighted the leader's speech saying, "The human is stronger than the technique because he invented the technique. From this logic, I became more convinced of the struggle for women's freedom and the work to reach all women because we realized then that our will is stronger than the plans, and we will win by virtue of will."

Leyla Guven and freedom's martyrs embody the free women's concept that Ocalan talked about.

Zalokh Abdo said at the end of her speech, "The free women that Ocalan talked about at that time is represented by Leyla Guven today." She added, "We have strong will, and many people are following the path of the martyrs, and the struggler Leyla Guven's will which shook the Turkish occupation's throne is good example."
