Executive Council stresses importance of activating role of women at its first meeting with Women's Coordination

The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Autonomous Administration bodies of North and East Syria, was attended by the co-chair of the Executive Council, Berîvan Khalid, and the two co-chairs Elizabeth Korya, Rohat Aref and the co-chairs of the bodies and offices of Autonomous Administration.

The meeting began by reading the reports of each body and office and the problems and obstacles facing their work. Many proposals were put forward by societies to overcome obstacles.

A plan of action was put in place next month to focus on activating women's activities as World Women's Day approaches on March 8 this year.

The Executive Council directed all bodies and offices to prepare statistics for all women working within the field of bodies and committees in the Autonomous Administration of northern and eastern Syria.

The Executive Council stressed the need to activate the role of working women within the bodies and committees of Autonomous Administration, and organize a program of training courses in their respective fields of competence.

The meeting ended with the need to hold a periodic meeting to assess the work and identify the problems, to be determined by the Presidency of the Executive Body so as not to harm the interest of work.
