Delegation of Interior Committee, ISF visits hunger strikers in al-Tabqa

A delegation from the Interior Committee and the Internal Security Forces (ISF) visited the Martyrs' Families Council on Sunday, where the people of al-Tabqa are on hunger strike in the eighth day in a row in the battle of " the empty intestines" in solidarity with the struggler activist Leyla Guven.

During the visit, the co-chair of the Interior Committee in al-Tabqa Mazloum Omar delivered a speech in which he praised the efforts that were made in solidarity with the resistance of the activist Leyla Guven.

In his speech, Mazloum Omar pointed to the importance of this step, which he described as great to express the will of the people struggling for their freedom and dignity.

Omar added, "We have seen the positive results achieved thanks to the resistance of the activist Leyla Guven, which reflected the nature of the peoples of the Middle East in the resistance and struggle," Omar said, "the Interior Committee and the ISF leadership support the hunger strikers and their efforts.

Moreover, the hunger strike was scheduled to last for six days but was extended in response to the desire of the people and the increasing number of participants.
