The Women's Administration in al-Raqqa has activated 256 communes and has opened 13 women's councils. These councils are the main reference for all women in organizing, improving their situation and solving their problems.

The commune is the smallest cell and foundation in building a democratic society. It is also the basis for consolidating the principle of coexistence among the people. It consists of several committees. Each committee is entrusted with the tasks entrusted to it in organizing the affairs of society. Women's communes are of great importance as they are concerned with women's affairs, organization and the basic reference to solve their problems and improve their situation.

After al-Raqqa liberation from the mercenaries who took this city as a capital of their alleged caliphate, the Women's Administration was established in al-Raqqa, which in turn started organizing women in the neighborhoods, so it started to form communes and councils for women, so far it has formed 256 communes and councils in al-Raqqa and its countryside.

These communes consist of several committees, including Reconciliation, Training, Protection and Health. Each committee consists of a number of members who carry out the duties entrusted to them by reconciliation and training on the role of women in the democratic nation and how women protect themselves.

The administrative in al-Rumaila Council, Amani Safari said that they initiated the formation of women's communes after the liberation of the city and the return of the people to it, so that the women of al-Raqqa can reorganize themselves after all they lived injustice and displacement under different names.

Amani noted that each commune consists of chairmanship and a number of committees that supervise its tasks.

Amani added, "We work hard to activate the role of women in all areas of life, through the commune, which is the first and fundamental plan to build a free and democratic society, and for women's communes, they are concerned with the affairs of women in the neighborhoods and organizing and solving their problems.

Rehab al-Juma one of the women of al-Raqqa said that thanked the Women's Administration in al-Raqqa on the formation of the communes, which became the basic reference for all women, not to mention the creation of jobs opportunities for the women of al-Raqqa.
