Kurdish politician: Parties hinder ranks' unity aim to serve Kurds' enemies

After Kurdistan National Congress' (KNK) initiative to unify the Kurdish class in preparation for the convening of a national conference in Kurdistan, a committee of 6 personalities was formed to visit all the Kurdish parties in Rojava and invited them to join the initiative, and as an initiative of good faith and removing obstacles and differences among the parties, the Democratic Autonomous Administration issued a statement in which it permitted all non-authorized parties to open their offices and start their activities.

In this context, ANHA agency met with the member of the Kurdish Leftist Party in Syria Hussein al-Ali who stressed the need to hold the Kurdistan National Congress and said, "We as Kurdish political parties must unify our ranks as soon as possible because the Kurdish Cause is at a historic stage today and became the focus of international agreements and understandings. On the other hand, the threats and attacks of the Turkish occupation on our regions are increasing. Therefore, unifying the ranks will be a guarantee to achieve many gains for our people."

Al-Ali stressed that the Turkish occupation and all the enemies of the Kurdish people are using the differences among the Kurdish forces and parties to strike the gains achieved by the Kurdish people in Rojava and northern Syria, and that is taken by Turkey as an pretext to spread the division among the people and to threat the security and stability of north and east of Syria in general.

Al-Ali pointed out that after the initiative launched by KNK in order to unite the Kurdish class and the formed committee visited many political parties, many parties declared their solidarity with this initiative. However, there are still parties affiliated with the Kurdish National Council in Syria. Some of the hostile statements to this initiative were released. Al-Ali called on the parties of the council to show their clear position on the issue of the unity of the Kurdish rank, put their partisan differences aside and focus on the interest of the Kurdish people in general.

Al-Ali concluded by saying, "At this sensitive stage, it can be confirmed that every Kurdish political party that opposes or impedes the holding of the patriotic conference of Kurdistan undoubtedly serve agendas hostile to the Kurdish Cause and working against the interest of the Kurdish people."
