HPG: Turkish occupation killed 4 civilians

The Media Center of HPG issued on Thursday a statement to the public opinion about the Turkish aircrafts' bombardment of the populated areas in Reşawa district in Dêrelok area in Başûr Kurdistan (South Kurdistan).

The statement included,

"The Turkish occupation army carried out aerial attacks on January 23rd on Başûr Kurdistan areas between 11:30 and 13:00 as the surrounding of Yekmalê village of Garê area and Reşava district in Dêrelok area were bombarded. At 19:20, Qesrokê square in Heftanîn area was bombarded.

The bombardment did not inflict any damage to the ranks of our forces, but in Reşava area, 4 civilians whose names are Azad Shahin, Azad Mejeed Sefo, Redar Mohammed Taher and Wahid Abdel Qader were killed. The aircrafts intended to bombard the civilians after taking coordinates with 4 drones. Moreover, two corpses were found while the two others' effects were not found.

This made sure that the Turkish occupation does not only target Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), but targets all the Kurdish people. In the last three years, at least 20 civilians were killed in the result of the Turkish occupation's bombardment on Amediyeyê district only.

Furthermore, we express condolences to the victims' families, and promise to continue our struggle against the Turkish occupation army till safety is achieved."
