HPG declared 1 Turkish soldier's killing in Îdir

The Media Center of HPG issued on Wednesday a statement to the public opinion in which it disclosed the outcomes of an operation carried out in a hill located in Îdir city.

The statement included,

"The Turkish occupation army with special unit ambush our forces in Kor hill in Îdir city. Since a period, these units have been being followed by our forces within the martyr Servraz revolutionary campaign. On January 20th at 14:45, an operation was carried out against the Turkish occupation forces there, and the killing of a Turkish soldier was confirmed. After the operation, the Turkish occupation bombarded the area.

On January 22nd at 18:10, the Turkish occupation's warplanes bombarded Avaşîn area in the lawful defense zones, Werxel square and Karal hill. The bombardment did not cause any losses in our forces' ranks.

On January 21st at 19:45, the Turkish occupation bombarded the martyr Kendal square and Qileban and Şirnex cities. The bombardment resulted in martyring our comrade Armanç Zîlan, and his record is as follows:

The father and mother's names: Bashir - Mineh

The place and date of martyrdom: Qileban / January 21st, 2019.

During the statement, the forces condoled the martyr's family, praised his great role in fighting the Turkish occupation, and confirmed to follow his footsteps till his goals will be achieved.
