Turkish buffer zone will not bring stability, but will further complicate crisis

ANHA correspondent interviewed the co-chair of al-Shahba Canton Council on threats of the Turkish state to the north and east of Syria and the effectiveness of the idea of a buffer zone in the north of Syria with an American and Turkish vision.

We have not posed a threat to any neighboring country, but we have achieved security for the countries of the world

Dawood said that we today in the north of Syria do not and will not pose a threat to any neighboring country. On the contrary, we have secured the neighboring countries by expelling and eradicating of IS terrorism from our regions. We have achieved international peace and security by defeating the terrorists. Most European countries today, the United States and the countries of the world enjoy peace and not subjected to terrorism, because the components of northern Syria, which formed the SDF ,eliminated the terrorists in their strongholds .

For this reason, Dawood stresses that a serious solution to the Syrian situation must be worked today, "The Syrian situation today requires a radical democratic political solution and not to find partial solutions serving the international and regional agendas, these radical solutions are based on the will of the components of the Syrian people and our perspective for this solution is that there is a democratic system whose components include its forces and any regional or international project will contribute to the division of Syria into the States does not serve the interest of the Syrian people in the end and will not end the crisis."

He added that, "Today, the regions of northern and eastern Syria are not a threat to Turkey, but the ambitions of the Turkish state are pushing them to seek false solutions to pass through their colonial and colonial projects."

He stressed that the region of northern and eastern Syria threatened by Turkey is safe, stable and peaceful coexistence among all components. The civil administration administers its areas and there are military and security forces to protect them. There is also a just judiciary that achieves social justice in this region and all its components represented by its civil, military, political and judicial administrations. The advanced stage of democracy and peace enjoyed by the north and east of Syria came as a result of the sacrifices of their martyrs, the fight against terrorism and the conspiracies that have been waged against the Syrian people in general and the north and east of Syria in particular.

Are the zones occupied by Turkey safe to demand the establishment of a "buffer zone"?

According to the facts, Dawood confirms that the idea of ​​security for the Turkish occupation state is "pure fiction", citing this assertion through the practices of the Turkish occupation in the cantons of al-Shahba and Afrin occupied by them. "Turkey was claiming that it would enter al-Shahba and Afrin to make it a safe area, the whole world is witnessing what is happening in these occupied areas in general and Afrin, especially war crimes against humanity, and facing the policies of demographic and cultural change

We call upon the United Nations, the Security Council, the International Alliance and Russia instead of creating "buffer zones" under the auspices of the Turkish occupation, to end the Turkish occupation of the rest of Syria and to solve the crisis.

Turkey aims to implement the Ottoman Melli Charter

Dawood noted that Turkey is in the orbit of the dominant countries in the region and is carrying out its own projects, but in exchange for its colonial share in the Middle East according to the new arrangements planned. "We must not forget the 1991 when Turkish Foreign Minister Hikmet Çetin said "We agree with Israel and we are partners in the restructuring of the Middle East. If Turkey is working to restructure the Middle East according to its occupation vision and according to the Ottoman Melli Charter, this message must be read by the Syrian people in all its components.

At the end of his speech, Emad Dawood called for activating the internal Syrian dialogue based on free will among all parties, away from external interference to reach a solution to the crisis stemming from the will of the Syrian people.
