People of al-Jazeera Region bid farewell 2 martyrs' corpses

KOBANI

The martyrs were Wiso Fares (whose nom de guerre Jodi Kobanî) and the martyr Shiyar (whose nom de guerre Shiyar Peleng) who martyred on January 16-2019 while they were accompanying a patrol for Alliance Forces in Manbij and exposed to a terrorist attack resulted in martyrdom of 15people and 4 US soldiers.

The funeral ceremony started by holding a minute of silence and presenting a military parade .

Then the co-chair of the Defense and Self-Protection Body Esmet Sheikho delivered speech and said "By virtue of the sacrifice and resistance of the martyrs, we have been able to live in our homeland with dignity, and the attacks that targeted us have been foiled. We must now protect the gains we have made thanks to the blood of the martyrs."

In a speech during the ceremony, the deputy of the Joint Presidency of   Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in northern and eastern Syria, Farhad Shibli, confirmed that the terrorist attack on Manbij was carried out by Turkish intelligence and aimed at striking the security and stability of the city.

Then the Council of Martyrs' Families read the martyrdom document of the martyrs and was handed over to their families.
