Women of al-Tabqa: We will not accept occupation in our land

The Women's Administration organized a sit-in tent in response to the Turkish threats to occupy north and east Syria. The protestors stressed the need to unite against the Turkish threat and said, "We will not accept the occupation of our territory."

The protestors pointed out that this sit-in will show the whole world and the Turkish occupier in particular that the women in north and east Syria, including women of al-Tabqa are steadfast in the face of threats to strike the democratic nation project and peoples' brotherhood living in the region.

Fatima al-Hamdu the administrator of Women in al-Tawihina stressed that the women in al-Tabqa will stand in front of the Turkish ambitions through sit-ins and demonstrations will not stop until the Turkish ambitions stop.

For her part, member of the coordination of women in the northern countryside of al-Tabqa Salwa Khalaf added that this is not the first activity of women and will not be the last. Woman will continue their sit-in till victory.

"We will not accept the occupation, Turkey is aiming to commit massacres and create strife among the people of the same people," Rahma Al-Ali, the co-chair of the Youth council in al-Tabqa.
