Seko: Erdogan threatens not only targets Kurds

On13 December, 2018, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan launched threats of attacks on the liberated north and east of Syria. After a while Erdogan returned to launch threats and said he was not targeting the Kurds with these attacks.

On this regard, the secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Dr. Abdul Karim Seko, said in a meeting with ANHA agency: "Erdogan, by launching attacks on some areas of north and east Syria, wants to win the elections."

Turkey is hostile to people, especially the Kurdish people

He said, seven years ago, the Turkish state threatened to attack areas of north and east Syria and wants to revive the Ottoman Empire and the racial charter, the gains of north and east areas of Syria did not agree with Erdogan's accounts, the peoples of the region achieved these gains by struggle and sacrifice and so far the Turkish state continues to be hostile to the people, especially the Kurdish people.

They want to win elections by launching attacks

"By launching attacks on some areas in north and east Syria, they want to win the elections," he said, adding: "Erdogan is always threatening these regions of Syria before any elections, but he will not achieve his goal because the project of the democratic nation which applied there will achieve wins day by day."

He said that the war against ISIS in north-east areas of Syria is about to end. "The political solution to the Syrian crisis will begin and Erdogan sees this as a danger and tries to block the solution of the Syrian crisis, fueling the conflict and prolonging the life of ISIS."

The threats target all components of north and east Syria, not just the Kurds

He said: "Many of the people of the Syriac, Armenian and Yezidi elements who survived the massacres of the Ottoman Empire in north and east Syria. The Turkish state is the first enemy of the peoples. Erdogan says that his threats are not against the Kurdish people, but against all components and against the project of the democratic nation, and the best example of this is what happened in Afrin. The Kurds were not the only ones living in Afrin, but all the components were living in it. It had used 72 military aircraft in one day, and committed massacres against the components in Afrin and now Erdogan say it openly, "I am not targeting the Kurdish people." This statement is a clear message means that it targets all the peoples of the region. "

"The components of the region will never allow the occupiers to enter the region and the will of the people will fail Erdogan's policies," he said.
