Kalesh: National Congress is urgent need to unify Kurdish visions

In this context, Hawar news agency held a special meeting with a member of the Intellectual Union of Direk branch Dr. Mustafa Kalesh to talk about the necessity and importance of holding the congress

The congress is a successful step to unify the visions in this situation

Kalesh, explained that holding the congress is unfortunately did not succeed because of some obstacles and problems from some parties, but holding it in parts of Kurdistan or in any part of Kurdistan is a successful step to unify the Kurdish class.

Kalesh hoped that the Kurdistan National Congress will be held soon because the occupiers are strengthening their influence and increasing their attacks on the Kurdish issue in various parts of Kurdistan, adding that "the extremists of Kurdistan are not hiding their hostility towards the Kurdish areas. The occupier has no vision to solve the Kurdish issue, so holding the national congress at this time an urgent need at the level of Kurdistan, and according to the circumstances experienced by each part to respond to these attacks, to reach a solution emanating from the congress and decisions serve the national interest, and unify the Kurdish visions in this sensitive situation experienced by the Kurdish people.

Unification of the decision to influence the Kurdish street

Kalesh pointed out that everyone should take serious steps to serve the Kurdish issue after the call of holding the congress by the Kurdistan National Congress in this delicate situation in which the region is going. "On this basis, the Political Parties Affairs Committee initiated this invitation and allowed the unlicensed political parties to open their offices as a necessity of trust between the parties to discuss their issues."

Kalesh said that what is required of the parties in Rojava is to unify their political vision of the parties of the Autonomous Administration, the Kurdish National Council, the Progressive Party and National Coalition. Each party has a different position on the other, "but what is required from each party is an independent decision without external pressure, and that the Kurdish parties have to be independent with a unified opinion to be influential on the Kurdish street."

The intellectuals must do their role to end the disputes between the parties

Kalesh stressed the need for the Kurdish people to unite their ranks to pressure the political parties to unify their position and pave the way for dialogue to discuss the convening of the Kurdistan National Congress, especially in light of repeated threats by the enemies of the Kurdish people which seeks to end its existence.

Kalesh pointed out that under this sensitive stage, the intellectuals have to focus on the need to hold the National Congress through their seminars and pens, the need to unite the Kurdish class to end the disputes between the parties and put an end to these attacks.

He added "The parties that draw their power from the people are able to listen to the people's demands, because they are the basis of the society, and in this case the people's decision will have an impact on the party,"

At the end of his speech, Mustafa Kalesh called upon the Kurdish people, intellectuals and politicians to show their national positions, because history will not have mercy on those who stand in the face of the Kurdish interest.
