SDF: Five IS foreign elements arrested in Deir-ez-Zor

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces said in a statement that their forces managed to arrest five IS mercenaries from different nationalities.

The Media Center of SDF said that IS were launching attacks against the displaced convoys and were being arrested during operations of the Syrian Democratic Forces fighters while they were preparing for attacks on a large group of civilians in Deir-ez-Zor.

The text of the statement is:

Al-Jazeera Tempest campaign is still advancing in the final stages to liberate the remaining areas controlled by IS. Our forces have liberated vast areas of the terrorist organization's grip and have surrounded them in a small pocket, receiving daily fatal blows from our fighters.

The terrorist organization- desperate -tries to stop the advance of our forces by resorting to all methods and ways to launch counter-attacks against our forces.

In recent days, when large groups of displaced people in Deir-ez-Zor were trying to get out of the terrorist organization areas, we were assured through the operations of tracing and permanent monitoring that elements of the terrorist organization were attacking the convoys of the displaced.

As a result of these operations, on December 30, 2018, our forces arrested five foreign terrorist elements, of American, Irish and Pakistani nationalities.

These are the identities of detained terrorists:

1 - Warren Christopher Clark, nicknamed "Abu Mohammed the American" of the state of Houston-USA.

2 - Alexander Rosatovic from Dublin, Ireland.

3 - Zaid Abdel Hamid, nicknamed (Abu Zaid the American) from the United States of America.

4 - Fadhel Rahman Jad, nicknamed (Abu Enaam Muhajir) from the city of Lahore - Pakistan.

5 - Abdul Azim Rachout, nicknamed (Abu Omar the Pakistani) from the city of Sialkot - Pakistan. "
