Cooperative Association House opens its second project for women

The Women's of the Euphrates Workshop, which includes a section for women's sewing and handicrafts is considered one of the important projects that support women's economy and self-sufficiency, in which 28 women working in simple possibilities, but the production is expected to be great due to the activity and experience of women working in the workshop.

Before cutting the opening ribbon, the co-chair of the Economic Committee of al-Tabqa city, Ahmed Sulaiman said in a speech to the leading role of women in administrating the community affairs and the importance of such projects in strengthening the economic activity of women and provide jobs opportunities for them to prove their capabilities in all fields, especially after the domination and slavery which they had come through under the former dominations, particularly ISIS.

The production of the workshop varies between popular and modern costumes in addition to woolen works, relying only two knitting and sewing equipment.

According to the administrator of the workshop Nour Ismail al-Salama, said that in the future two industrial sewing machines will be brought in addition to electric cloth scissors to facilitate the mechanism of work and increase production quantities.

It is noteworthy that the House of Cooperative Associations House opened a few days ago, the Women of the Future Workshop of sewing in al-Mahajeh neighborhood, it includes 10 women.
