The sit-in tent was organized by Martyrs Families' Council in Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood of Aleppo, in front of the Council Center in the western section of the neighborhood.

The banners were hung in the tent written on it "Hand in Hand to revolt for the Freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan " along with photos of the leader and the martyrs, as well as the flags of the Martyrs' Families Council.

Dozens of martyrs' families participated in the tent.

The activity of the tent began with a statement delivered by member of Martyrs' Families Council Zalika Qanbar stated in its text:

"For years and the entire world its still remained silent about the international conspiracy that was aimed at striking the democratic and peaceful nation of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, whose philosophy and aspirations have always been a solution to avoid problems and disasters. .

The Turkish state of fascism led by Erdogan is always seeking through his practices to restore the glories of their Ottoman predecessors and thus continue to violate human rights and jump over the concepts of democracy from the systematic arresting and stripping of leader Abdullah Ocalan and preventing lawyers and his family from visiting and reassuring his health.

The people must aspire only to victory and resistance

In the seven years of the Syrian revolution, and particularly in Rojava we were able to liberate our areas from the terrorists, with Trump's decision to withdraw his forces from Syria, brought with him many social, political and military crises in the region. One of these crises is the Turkish state's threats to north and east of Syria, and especially on Democratic Autonomous Administration DAA which has achieved great gains.

Finally, as the people of Aleppo, we declare to all international forces and institutions that we will stand against the Turkish state's occupied policy of our land and resist and break their dreams with the presence of our forces (YPG, YPJ) and Syrian Democratic Forces SDF which protected our land and homeland. "

The sit-in tent is scheduled to continue for two consecutive days to visit delegations from institutions and political parties in Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood.
