Despite the cold weather, Syrians protest against Turkish threats for 18 days

For the 18th day in a row and close to the Turkish border, despite the heavy rainfall in Syria in general, hundreds of Syrians in the north of the country, came from different areas to the tents erected in the city of Kobani rejecting Turkish threats to launch a military operation on north and east Syria .

Few weeks ago, tens of thousands of Syrians who participated in massive demonstration in Kobani city, rejecting the threats of the Turkish presence in Syria, then tent was set up along the border from Kobani to Deirk city northeast of Syria near the Iraqi border.

Qeremox village located east of Kobani city witnessed an intensive turnout from Kobani canton's people to the sit- in expressing their resistance against the Turkish threats 

The participants in the sit-in tent will begin their discussion about political developments on the Syrian arena and the region

At the entrance to the tents, two large banners were hung. "Your threats will not frighten us, but will make us more determined to resist. Your threats will not weaken the unity of the north and east of Syria."

The institutions of the Democratic Autonomous Administration, political parties in the canton: Future Syria Party, Democratic Union Party, the Kurdish Left Party, the Kurdish Democratic Union Party attended the sit-in intensively and participated in the sit-in

In the corners of the tents and near the heaters, a number of older women sit in front of the heaters, hoping to know the basis of some of the news which is circulating among the community about the Turkish threats to north and east of Syria, the sit-in will continue till the raising of the victory sign
