His journey documented suffering of salvation from IS

The family of displaced from al-Raqqa city Enad al-Olayan had suffered from IS mines, there are hundreds of people who were exposed to IS mines also.

Enad al-Olayan who is at 70 year, he is the father of five children, two of them are male, Abdul Rahman at 21 year, and Abdullah at 16 year, and Noura at 26 year, Manal at 24 year, Asma at year and his wife.

Enad family lives in a house in Ain Issa district belonging to Girê Spî, his home lacks the basic elements of life.

The uncle Enad has narrated his journey bitterly during his escape from al-Raqqa city to a village in east of Ain Issa district ( al-Jahbal village), where he stayed for 9 months, and now he is residing in Ain Issa camp.

One year has passed on his journey, when the liberation battles had intensified in its neighborhoods, he said "After the siege on IS mercenaries in al-Raqqa intensified, they planted mines everywhere in the city and we went out of the house at night to go to safe areas liberated by SDF, and when we walked in the street suddenly a landmine exploded."  

"After a few minutes, the fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces were hurrying toward us. Having arrived, they took us to a medical point in the city, but our injuries were dangerous, so we were taken to a hospital in Girê Spî."

Enad had a concussion in his entire body. Now he cannot control the balance of his body because of the injuries sustained by the explosion.

While his son Abdullah was wounded by his right side of the body by a shrapnel of the bomb that penetrated his body causing fractures and rupture of the flesh. His other son, Abd al-Rahman, injured in the spine, he was paralyzed

His daughter Nora was also hit by her right hand, which was paralyzed, while the rest of the family suffered minor injuries that did not affect them.

Now, the mother Fatima who is at 50-year-old takes care of what they need on a daily basis and takes them to doctors for treatment if necessary.

This family is waiting for organizations that provide support to war-affected and displaced people to support them and to pay for the expensive cost of treatment they spend because they are now more than ever in need of it.
