The clashes and mutual bombardment between the regime forces and Turkish mercenaries continue in the so-called "demilitarized" zone which the Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan have agreed upon.

In this context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored continuous bombardments on Tuesday midnight. The shelling continued on different areas of the village of Jiser al-Shughour in the western countryside of Idlib, and al-Latamna, al-Sakher and al-Jisat in the northern countryside of Hama and Kastoun and al-Ziyara in the northern and western countryside of Hama,

The regime forces also shelled areas in Khalsa and al-Humira in the southern countrysid of Aleppo, while the outskirts of the northern Latakia countryside were shelled by the regime forces.

For its part, the official agency "SANA" of the regime said that "units of the army" operating in the northern countryside of Hama, carried out "intensive strikes on the axes of movement and fortifications of the terrorist gangs in response to violations of the demilitarized zone agreement in Idlib."

While the agency quoted from its correspondent in Hama that the regime forces directed "firecrackers focused on the headquarters and locations of the spread of terrorists of the so-called" Turkistan Party" which includes hundreds of foreign mercenaries in the village of Kastoun in al-Gab valley in the northwestern of the countryside.

According to the agency, "the terrorist gangs deployed in the northern countryside of al-Latamna town had shelled the neighborhoods of Maherda city causing the injury of two civilians and damage to a number of houses."

According to the agreement's conditions, Turkey, which was the guarantor of mercenaries of Jabhit al-Nusra, the Turkistan Islamic Party and other mercenary gangs in that region, have to withdraw heavy weapons from the mercenaries until 10 October, 2018 and withdraw the mercenaries until the 15th of the same month. But the agreement articles did not implemented.
