People of Kobani : confident of our fighters' will

After the Turkish state's threats to launch attacks on North-East Syria, the people of the region have increased their determination to protect their land and areas, making it clear that they do not accept in any way to occupy their territory and are confident of their core forces and fighters, in this context, the residents of the village of Zorava, west of Kobani, located on the border with North Kurdistan speak to (ANHA).

The citizen Sheikh Mohammed Khalil explained that they are not afraid of the Turkish threats despite the fact that their houses are located on the border and they are the owners of this land. They trust of the heroes of People and Women Protection Units and confident that they will protect their gains.

Khalil pointed out that they do not rely on external forces. They will defend their land with the strength of their fighters.

Khalil stressed that the people of the region are linked to his cause and will not give up to claim its rights, Erdogan's threats and the withdrawal of US forces will not affect them.

"We, as women, take our place in the Fundamental Protection Forces and go out every day in night patrols to protect our villages and our people," Amira Barkal said.

She added "We will not go back one step backward and we will resist all the attacks that our regions may be subjected to,"

It is worth mentioning that the village of Zorava is located 6 kilometers west of the town of Kobani.
