Al-Sabkha clan: Turkish attack targets all sects

The reactions of the figures, political parties and tribal leaders continue to be a response to the threats of Turkish President Erdogan to attack northern and eastern Syria, and ANHA news agency conducted interview with Sheikh of al-Sabkha clan Muhammad al-Turki al-Sawan to determine the position of the tribes towards these threats.

At the beginning of his speech, al-Sawan linked Erdogan's threats to the progress of Syrian Democratic Forces in Deir ez-Zor and defeating IS mercenaries in Hajin town, the last stronghold of mercenaries in northern and eastern Syria.

He said that the Turkish state has trained and sent mercenaries Syria across its border.

He stressed that Syrian Democratic Forces had inflicted heavy blows on the Turkish state after defeating the strongest terrorist organization in the world, and to prove themselves as organized forces able to protect the north and east of Syria.

He added ,"the north and east of Syria are far from Erdogan and his followers  who are the mercenaries of the Free Army and the Syrian Coalition who have eliminated the Syrian revolution and sold themselves to the Turkish state in dollars."

He  noted that the Syrian north is watered with the blood of heroic martyrs who faced terrorism and those who try to enter northern Syria will regret."

Sheikh al-Sawan said ,"there is no difference between the Kurdish, Arab and Syriac people, we are all Syrians living together. Any attack on any sect is an attack on all of Syria."

At the end of his speech, Sheikh Mohammed al-Turki al-Sawan, one of the elders of Sabkha clan, appealed to all honorable Syrians not to be dragged behind the money and to stand hand in hand with Syrian Democratic Forces in any aggression against northern and eastern Syria."
