Beri: New deal looms, any attack to be approved by International Alliance

The director of Kurds without Borders Organization, Kadar Beri, condemned the Turkish threats to launch an attack on northeastern Syria. He stressed that Erdogan's threats to attack Rojava and all the north and east areas of Syria are never related to the circumstances, whether favorable or unfavorable because it wants to eliminate the only democratic project in Syria, and said, "On Wednesday, one of Erdogan's close companion declared on Sky News Arabic saying that we were wrong and we had to eliminate the Kurds and their project in the time of the battle of Kobanî in 2014."

Erdogan's goal is to eliminate the Kurds wherever they are

Kadar Beri stressed that Erdogan's goal of threatening to attack is that the Kurds would not get their rights because they are simply afraid about the spread of democracy and Kurdish rights inside Turkey. They are trying to fight the Kurds in Rojava, Başûr and wherever the Kurds said, "We exist and demand our rights."

He pointed out that Turkey has many ambitions. In addition to what it wants to hit the young democratic experience, everyone is aware of its ambitions for the economic strength inherent in this region, and he made clear, "This is not hidden by Turkish politicians, where Erdogan said that he aspires to control from Aleppo to al-Mosul, and this region is considered the richest in Syria and Iraq."

As for the position of the Syrian opposition against these attacks, Beri stressed that most of the Syrian opposition at home are people, not organizations which have no rules, and they are powerless because of being frightened by the regime and its intelligence that there is no position against them."

Any Turkish attack launched would be with the International Coalition's approval

Beri explained that Turkey cannot move north-east of Syria without the consent of the International Coalition, he added, "Therefore, the position of the Coalition's forces must be firm towards this matter because nobody will benefit from this attack except for the countries that did not participate in this Alliance that fights terrorism; Russia, Iran and practically Turkey."

After the failure of its policies, Turkey wants the regime to restore its control

Kadar Beri assured, "Turkey is an absolute evil in this region. How can it be a stabilizing factor, especially after the policies of the Justice and Development Party, the head of global terrorism?" he added, "Turkey leads the Muslim Brotherhood which is the basis of the global terrorist organizations. For example, Afrin was considered one of the safest areas in Syria. In addition to its population, it included more than 500 thousand displaced people and security seekers. Now, after the Turkish occupation, it has become the most unsafe area."

He pointed out that Turkey aims to occupy Syria and steal its goods. He said, "Since its policies failed, its goal has been to destroy what have been left of Syria, strike any democratic project and return the dictatorial regime to its past position as if nothing had happened."

The world must move in the face of Turkey's policies

The whole world must act against the Turkish policies that seek to destroy the social structure in Syria before anything else, and the United Nations and the Europeans must do the same. The world knows that Turkey is the sponsor of terrorism that threatens the security of their countries.
