Fawza Yousef: We have not fought anyone , we defend ourselves ,our existence

The Co - Chair of the Executive Body of Democratic Federation of North Syria, Fawza Youssef, made the statements during her participation in the annual meeting of Qamishlo Canton Council held at Aram Tikran Center for Culture and Art in Rumailan town.

It is held in the town of Rumailan belonging to Girkê Legê district  in order to prepare for the annual meeting of Qamishlo Canton Council by attending the Co-Chairs of the canton's councils , areasd , districts , towns in Qamishlo canton,

The Co-Chair of the Executive Body of Democratic Federation of North Syria ,Fawza Youssef participated in the meeting and delivered speech on the overall situation in the region and Syria and north and east of Syria in particular.

In her speech, she spoke of the crisis in the Middle East due to the lack of people will and the rule of authoritarian national state systems, which made the twentieth century a century of wars and conflicts in the area.

She noted that the areas of north and east Syria witnessed during the years of popular movement important developments in the promotion of democracy and the will of the people in the management of their affairs"For the first time in the history of the region, the peoples of north and east Syria have expressed their free will away from external interference, where democratic elections were held last year, the experience living in north and east Syria is a unique experience, And is an alternative model of prevailing regimes, which aroused the resentment of reactionary forces. The forces that do not believe in the will of the people consider this model a threat to it and reject the democratic system in our areas. It seeks to establish an authoritarian central system and impose it on the future of the region

"We do not seek to resolve the issues by military means, but we need peaceful and democratic solutions, but unfortunately, the reactionary forces, whether Turkey, Iran, or the Syrian regime," said Fawza Youssef, the political powers' efforts in the north and east of Syria to resolve the Syrian crisis by peaceful means. Does not want to resolve issues peacefully, but insists on committing massacres, denying identities and establishing undemocratic regimesWe tried so hard to participate in the political solution, but the same forces hindered our participation, our quest for negotiations and peace, but the regime adhered to its old mentality. We did not adopt the military means as a solution, but we were attacked, We did not get out of our homes but they attacked our homes, we did not get out of our land and attacked our land, defended our culture and denied its culture. We have not fought a war against anyone, we are fighting a war of existence and self-defense

The Co-Chair of the Executive Body of Democratic Federation of North Syria ,Fawza Yousef also spoke about the Turkish threats and attacks on the areas of north and east Syria "in 2018 of the main topics that we have worked on is to stabilize Syria and elimination of IS' gangs and destabilization and stability in the area, But Turkey and Russia considered it a threat, and in order to drag us to war they launched an attack on Afrin. Our goal was to make the model of North Syria a model for solving the Syrian crisis, but Turkey and other countries did not want to solve the Syrian crisis, In order to deepen the crisis and escalating the war in Syria, Afrin attacked and occupied it ,

"Whenever a step is taken to eliminate an oppressor, Turkey supports them in order to prolonging IS' life, When it was agreed to eliminate Jabhit al-Nusra, Turkey intervened and worked to protect Jabhit al-Nusra . Turkey does not want to eliminate terrorism in Syria, does not want to establish security and stability in Syria, and does not wish to resolve the Syrian crisis because Turkey knows very well that stability in Syria means that the Turkish people and Turkish political forces will demand a change of the dictatorial regime led by the Justice Party ,Therefore, all its efforts are focused on deepening the Syrian crisis. "

Turkey's goal is dividion of Syria

Fawza Yousef also noted to the main objective of the Turkish occupation state is the division of Syria, "Turkey's problem is not about the Kurdish people ,Nor the Democratic Union Party (PYD) and People Protection Units (YPG), Turkey does not want to solve the Syrian crisis and stablilze Syria, Turkey is only seeking to divide Syria, the Turkish presence in Idlib , Azaz , al-Bab,and Jarablus is a prelude to the division of Syria ,we are not the ones who called the mercenaries to Idlib, but it is the policies of the Turkish state, international politics and regime practices and policies that pave the way for Turkey to divide Syria.
