Syriac Union Party: All Syrians must solidarity against Turkish threats

The Syriac Union Party issued a statement denouncing the Turkish threats to the North-East of Syria, and said in the text of the statement:

"The Turkish president continues to threat in occupying areas of North Syria on the pretext that Syrian Democratic Forces pose a threat to Turkey, while the aim of SDF from the beginning and is still in the self-defense and fighting terrorist organizations in Syria and has never posed any threat to neighboring countries.

Turkish escalation comes at the same time while SDF leading in cooperation with the international alliance the final phase to eliminate IS organization from the east of the Euphrates, and in front of these serious developments that would threaten the peace and stability of North-East Syria, we as the Syriac Union Party reject and condemn this threat by the Turkish president, who is seeking to occupy other Syrian territory and support the terrorist military forces in the content and moderate with the Turkish media only such as those in al-Bab, Jarablus, Azaz, and Afrin, which commit the most terrible violations against the Syrian people in all its components, and we call on the general Syrian people to solidarity against this aggression and the Turkish plan which aims to divide the Syrian territory 

We also call on the United Nations to take responsibilities in protecting the east of the Euphrates from any military threat which would lead to disastrous results. We also call the United Nations to facilitate the peace process in Syria, which is the guarantor of stability and seeks for a political solution that will put an end to wars and foreign interventions. "
