Coordination Body: Resuming dialogue is to counter Turkey's ambitions

The spokesman for the National Coordination Body – the Democratic Change Movement, Dr. Munther Khadam issued a written statement on the threats of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to launch attacks on North Syria.

The text of the statement:

"The Turkish president has recently issued statements threatening to invade Syrian territory in North-East of Syria under the pretext of fighting terrorism, which he and his system are the most international supporters, and he has embraces it officially in Idlib and in Afrin and in north Aleppo. On behalf of the National Coordination Body- the Democratic Change Movement, I condemn these statements in the most strongest terms, and I warn all the concerned about the Syrian homeland that Turkey has real ambitions in the Syrian territories, and these threats should not be tolerated, no matter what the pretexts are, and the Syrian government should face Turkey's ambitions of our Syrian territory. The most effective way is to resume the dialogue with the community and political forces in the region, in order to reach political understandings for fortification it against the ambitions of Turkey and its attacks. "
