Euphrates region components gathered in Kobani under sit-in tent for Ocalan

The events of the third day of the sit-in and the hunger strike that started in Kobani on the 10th of December have witnessed a wide participation of the various components of the people in the Euphrates region.

As the people of Serin district of the two Arab and Kurdish components are swarmed in addition to the people of Girê Spî canton of the Kurdish and Arab and Armenian component to participate in the activities of the sit-in tent.

The sit-in and hunger strike have begun on Monday (10th of December) to denounce the strict isolation imposed on the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan and in solidarity with the parliamentarian of the Democratic People's Party and the co-chair of the Kurdistan Democratic Society Conference in North Kurdistan Laila Cuven, the striker in the Turkish prisons.

During the third day, Murad Lalo, the administrator of the Democratic Society Movement Council, delivered a speech on behalf of Serin delegation who participated in the tent, as well as Zahra Barkal, a member of the General Coordination of Kongra Star, in which they stressed the continuation of the struggle until reaching the freedom of Ocalan.

It is scheduled to receive a lecture in the sit-in tent to talk about the struggle path that Ocalan has fought throughout his life during Wednesday evening.

The events of the tent continue, as the Preparatory Committee said it will continue to Thursday as well.
