Isolation imposed on Ocalan is arbitrary detention, arresting of Lelya Guven is violation of women rights

The activist Leyla Guven who has been on hunger strike since 35 days against the isolation on the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali prison, while the cities and towns of Rojava announced their solidarity with prisoners and hunger strikers during sit-ins.

The deputies and parliamentarians in the prisons of the fascist have announced to go on hunger strike among them activist Leyla Guven who has been on hunger strike since November despite her health.

Qamishlo canton 's cities have announced their solidarity with the activist Leyla Guven in the prisons of the fascist Turkish , denouncing the isolation imposed against the leader Ocalan, The sit-in was organized by Kongra Conference and the Democratic Union Party (PYD) under the slogan "Let's to break the isolation of fascism to live free with leader Ocalan."

After finishing the sit-in in Qamishlo , Girkê Legê and Çil Agha , on Tuesday , Derik people and its districts announced that they would set up the sit- in tent for 2 days  

The sit-in tent was set up in front of the center of the Martyrs' Families Council in Deirk city which was decoratred with the pictures of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan and the photos of the activist Leyal Guven and politicians martyres namely : Sakîne Cansiz, Fîdan Doxan and Leyla Şaylemez

At 8:00 am, the 154 hunger strikers from all parts of Deirk city arrived from Kurds, Arab and Syriac with the participation of Deirk's council and institutions. Among the hunger strikers were 100 women wearing white shirts that symbolized peace and the image of the leader.

After the sit-ins and the participants in the sit-in sit a minute of silence, the opening speech of the sit-in tent was read by the General Coordinator of Star Conference in Rojava ,Hadiya said  "We in Star Conference condemn the isolation imposed on the World leader Abdullah Ocalan in the prisons of the fascist Turkish who entered his 20th year, Strongly condemns Turkish violations and arbitrary arrests of parliamentarians and politicains activists."

She added that the sit-ins and events did not stop until the end of the isolation imposed on the leader and the release of politicains prisoners, adding that the arresting of the activist Leyal Guven       by the Turkish occupation violated the rights of women and humanity, so we at the Star Conference we declare solidarity with the activist Lelya Guven who has been on hunger strike since 34 days ."

Under the tent of the sit-in, many speeches were delivered on behalf of the Martyrs Families'Council  in Deirk city, the Kurdish Language Complex, the People's and Finance Council in Deirk, and the Kafna Shubi band of the Dajla Center for Culture and Art. They said: "Resistance is still ongoing and no one can stand up to resistance because we learned In the leader's school the principles of democracy, freedom and resistance. "

In this context, Hawar new agency (ANHA) has met with all the components in Deirk city and the hunger strikers in the sit-in tent with the activist Leyla Guven. In turn, Sida Hanna Ibrahim spoke of the Chaldean component. She condemned the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan and condemned the arresting of activist Leyla Guven in the prisons of the fascist Turks.

The isolation imposed on world leader Abdullah Ocalan is unfair, and the arresting of activist Leyla Guven is a violation of the rights of women, so we pledge to escalate the struggle to deliver our voice out to public opinion about the arbitrary detention against the activists and politicians parliamentarians in Turkish fascist prisons," she said.

For her part, the Co-Chair of Deirk district's council  Dilber Ali l expressed her solidarity with the activist Leyla Guven in her demands. "Therefore, we declare our solidarity with the hunger strikers in the prisons of the fascist Turks, and support them in their campaign against the policies of Turkey's isolation against the leader Ocalan"

Ahmed Jafal from Arab component he said  "We stood today under the sit-in tent to denounce the isolation imposed on the wolrd leader and on behalf of the Arab component. We condemn this aggression. We also condemn the arbitrary arrests against our Kurdish people by the Turkish occupation and demanding of the freedom to the leader ."

The sit-in tent is scheduled to continue for the evening hours and a sit-in tent will launch on Wednsday morning with the participation of the institutions and towns of Deirk.
